Shanti Business School Hosted Faculty Development Program and CEO Lecture Series
A national level Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Fundamentals of Research Methodology’ is being organised at Shanti Business School from 13th to 31st July 2015.
There is insufficient interaction between the university research departments on one sideband business establishments, government departments and research institutions on the other side. Efforts should be made to develop satisfactory liaison among all concerned for better and realistic researchers. There is need for developing some mechanisms of a university-industry interaction programmer so that academics can get ideas from practitioners on what needs to be researched and practitioners can apply the research done by the academics. Faculty members and research scholars from academics and industry personnel from various academic corporate are participating in this programme. This is the first of its kind FDP initiated by Shanti Business School with the objective to foster excellence in the field of research and create a network of researchers. It encompasses training on research methodology and design tools like SPSS and Advanced MS Excel. The FDP is a CSR initiative of Shanti Business School which is sponsoring all participants to be part of this enriching experience of seven days.
Prayaan Prayaan is a series of guest sessions for the students of Shanti Business School where industry experts from all domains share their rich experience and insights on the emerging trends. As the name suggests, the series makes the students ready to take their first flight into the corporate world. Starting from aptitude building, group discussions, mock interviews and going through team based management games till the knowledge enriching seminars, students get a rigorous training for their overall development giving an edge in terms of corporate exposure. Experts from various MNCs like Deloitte, Pepsico, Adani , SNL Financial etc coming from industries like FMCG, Consultancy, Logistics etc were invited to share their corporate experience.
